Tips & Strategies

• 1Plan two moves ahead instead of reacting. A quick direction change near your own tail is the most common way to lose - always leave yourself an escape route.
• 2In the early game, collect food in a sweeping loop pattern. Moving in a wide S-shape keeps your head away from your tail and never paints yourself into a corner.
• 3Turn slightly before you absolutely have to. The instant corner-cut on the last frame feels fast, but it is the classic cause of a self-collision at speed.
• 4The walls are deadly, so aim to keep your snake away from the edges when you are long. Circle the centre and expand outward as you grow.
• 5Slow down your thinking, not your movement. Each food decision is cheap; each wall bump is fatal. Patience is the whole game at high lengths.
