About Netbender
Netbender is a penalty duel in stick figures where the ball bends whichever way you pull. Drag across the screen, hold your angle, and let go — the kick arcs toward the corner you aimed at. Going high is flashy but tight; going low past the keeper's legs is safe but predictable. The keeper watches your drag line and dives the side it leans toward, so faking him out by switching direction at the last instant is the real game. You get five shots in Solo against a keeper that sharpens as the rounds tick by, or grab a friend for a proper head-to-head: one shoots while the other takes the gloves and dives with the arrow keys. The goal rings when a clean strike finds the net, the post stings when you miss by a whisker, and your best score stays saved in the browser. Runs offline, no ads, no sign-up — just the spot, the ball, and the keeper's patience running out.

Tips & Strategies
- Drag a generous distance before releasing. A long, controlled drag gives you fine aim AND full power - short flicks lose both direction control and pace.
- Postage stamps beat corners. The very top edge of the net is impossible to save; a smaller target close to the post beats a confident center aim the keeper already read.
- Sell your eyes, not your feet. The keeper tracks your drag line, so aim one side, then slide your release toward the other at the last instant to freeze him in the diving pose.
- Low and hard beats slow and high. Across the ground the keeper has a fraction of a second - a fast grounded strike scores far more often than a lobbed ball he can track.
- Read the keeper's early dives in Solo mode. If he guesses the side before you release, ping the opposite corner and punish the overcommit.

How do I shoot?
Drag from anywhere on the pitch and release to strike the ball toward where you let go. Drag a long way for power, and aim high into the corners to get the ball past the keeper.
How does the two-player duel work?
Player 1 takes five penalties while Player 2 guards the goal, then they swap roles for five more. The keeper dives with the Arrow Keys or A and D. Highest score wins - and ties send you to sudden death.
Does the keeper get smarter?
In Solo mode the keeper tracks your drag and dives to where he thinks the ball is heading. On the later kicks he closes down tighter, so vary your placement and don't always take the same shot.
Does the game save my progress?
Your best solo score is saved in your browser automatically, so each shootout hands you a record to chase on your next visit.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. The whole game is built for touch - drag with your finger to shoot and steer the keeper on the move. It works with mouse and keyboard on desktop and runs in any modern browser.
